Back from Glastonbury

I’m a bit knackered. I’ve just spent the weekend at the Glastonbury Festival. It was very good, though a little odd – it’s strange that a town the size of Bournemouth can be created overnight.

The bands/acts I saw were Amy Winehouse, Arctic Monkeys, Babyhead, Bloc Party, Calvin Harris, CSS, El Presidente, The Enemy, The Holloways, Jamie T, Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian, The Killers, The Kooks, Lilly Allen, Magic Numbers, Mark Ronson (twice), Rufus Wainwright, The Who and a little bit of Maximo Park, Corrine Bailey Rae and Mika. I also caught lots of comedy and some circus stuff too. A busy weekend!

I also thought it might be quite fun to record some video blogs over the weekend, mostly as a bit of an experiment to see if it work. They were all recorded on a Nokia N73 with an unlimited data plan on Three using the ShoZu application. ShoZu then allowed me to upload the videos direct to YouTube. There’s a bit more about it at my work-site, Authentic Buzz.

Generally I was quite pleased with the videos, I think they give a good flavour of the festival and worked nicely as ‘live’ content to give viewers a flavour of the event – if you’ve seen them I’d love to hear your comments. You can grab them here.

Off to Glasto

I’m off to be covered in mud at the Glastonbury Festival for a stag do, so there’s unlikely to be much posting here. No change there, I here you say.

Anyway, I thought this was a good time to try some video blogging. I’m going to be uploading videos from my phone to YouTube. You can check them out at

That is of course, if I have a signal and my battery doesn’t give in.
